Sidewall riser systems are commonly installed using large diameter HDPE pressure pipe. Installation requires the need for specialised butt fusion technicians and equipment.

Bauku pipes are designed for structural strength not pressure, therefore we can design a bespoke sidewall riser to meet with the exact specification criteria of any landfill cell.

With pressure pipe systems it is typical that joints are formed by either prefabrication into a single shaft or via extensions using extremely costly large diameter electro-fusion couplings.

B&M have devised a system of mechanically jointing subsequent shaft sections by use off socket and spigot joints and stainless steel pins. Joints can be formed without the need to mobilize specialist sub-contractors. This system has been accepted by the Environment Agency and is currently installed at Deerplay landfill site in Bury.

B&M Solutions Ltd. are the UK license holders of Bauku pipe and shafts can be fabricated and delivered in sectional form within three to four weeks.
