Gas Extraction Across Highway Infrastructure

B&M Solutions Ltd. were contracted to design and install landfill gas infrastructure as principal contractor under CDM regulations. This project included the supply and entrenched installation of a 600m PE 80 400mm dia SDR17.6 gas collection pipe 63mm leachate, air and condensate pipe work, electrical cable, telemetry cables and Knock out pots.

In the scope of this project four road crossings were required two of which had to be capable of withstanding a live load of 120 tons. In order to provide a compliant bespoke structural design we were able to call upon the assistance of the chartered structural engineers within our sister company, environmental consultancy Egniol ltd.
