B&M acted as project managers to co-ordinate the delivery of leachate from a landfill site to a local authority waste water pumping station. This was the terminal of leachate pumping system and necessitated the crossing of a busy public highway. As road closure was not possible. B&M utilised specialist directional drilling contractors. It was extremely important to our clients that the alignment of the discharge line was precise and did not trespass adjoining land. The coordination of precise surveying and accurate drilling methods achieved millimetre accuracy.
