B&M Solutions Ltd. were contracted to install 2.5 Km of leachate extraction pipework below an engineered clay cap and HDPE liner cap. This complicated project was phased to ensure that excavated clays were conditioned on site and recompacted over the newly installed leachate extraction pipework for more than 1.5 kilometers. Over the remaining kilometer the 1.5mm HDPE cap was split and retained for pipework installation and reinstated by extrusion weld method by B&M technicians all of this reinstatement to stringent CQA standards.
This contract required the skills of numerous technical experts from careful and precise excavator operators to skilled butt fusion and extrusion weld technicians over seems by experienced contract managers. |
